Lizzie walked around the schools courtyard and wondered why she was here. Her grandma said that she can control fire element but herself wasn't so sure about it and she was forced also by grandma to come here.

She walked and walked and sometime also did think what happened on that night when her house was burnt down. She also wondered how she got out alive. She wasn't sure about anything anymore, her life was upside down you could say.

Charlotte was walking along, head down, scribbling a "To Do" list into a small leather journal she currently always had on person. Riveted and consumed by her writing, she didn't perceive a blonde girl ahead of her.

Colliding into the girl, her head jolted up from the notebook, her hands automatically slammed the book shut. She stumbled back, quickly pushing her unkempt hair out of her face, and frowning. "I'm so sorry!"

Lizzie looked at that girl who just had colliding into her. "I-it's o-okay," she said back quietly. She was quite shy and she didn't like to meet strangers much, around them she felt really uncomfortable. She tried to smile little bit but she failed today, she was not at all happy today. She had really stressful day today. She didn't wanna think what had happened but she couldn't stop her thoughts.

Charlotte persisted, still frowning. "I'm sorry if I hurt you." She preceded to change the subject."I'm Charlotte Rose, 5th year Octavia." She smiled faintly. "How about you?"

"N-no you didn't hurt me," she said back to her then. "Lizzie Night, firsy year Rosewood," she introduced herself too.

Charlotte smiled, her eyes crinkling at the sides. "Haven't met a Rosewood yet, though I've only been here a few days." She raised a thin eyebrow. "Do you have any..er..powers?"

"Em okay," was what she could say at first. She wasn't sure what to answer to her question. "Em.. My grandma told I can control fire, she forced me to come here, myself don't believe I can control such element," she then explained to her. "You?" she asked back.

Charlotte looked a bit shocked, but quickly smoothed her expression into a smile. 'Two fire users in one day, you're on a roll.' She bit her lip. "Whenever my emotions act up, I can freeze time. Everything stands still while me, and any other people who have this ability, wander. It's sorta scary, and sometimes, when it's really bad, it takes more to unfreeze it. I once stopped time for 5 hours, not knowing how to fix it again."

Lizzie listened quietly what Rose is saying. "Oh, cool power," she said to her then. She was not sure what else to say on that. This world was so new for her actually. "What powers people in this school usually have?" she asked the quite stupid question.

Charlotte pursed her lips and scratched her neck. "Not sure, special ones I guess? Usually elemental powers, and if not, either something to do with the mind or time. Anything, from what I've observed."

"Oh I see," she said to her then. "How did you discover your power?" she asked then. She just wanted to know it for soke reason.

Charlotte chewed her bottom lip. "I was really small, too young to control my emotions. I think some kid was bullying me about how I tended to keep to myself, and I got mad. Then, he froze in place. I was stuck there for half a day, trying to figure out what to do. Finally, I unfroze him, and he continued to tease me. Nothing had changed, except I was scared out of my mind."

She shook her head. "But enough about me, what about you?"

"I'm not sure when was really first time when I used it but couple weeks ago there was big fire in my house and grandma says that it was my fault but I don't remember but nothing yet," she tried to explain then to that girl. She was not sure how well she understood her.
